BREACH
Breach is an invitation to a distorted Marineland, a deep dive through breath, dissolving borders between humans and animals. Amidst the haze and dense violet light are the bodies of 6 performers and inflatable orcas. Much like tourists visiting an aquarium, the audience sits around the stage in order to observe these bodies in movement. Intertwined with the orcas, a sound performer guides the transformation and migration of the dancers with the help of microphones amplifying the subtleties of the breath work. In this strange space that oscillates between imaginary ocean and a dystopian aquarium, the delirious narration of a YouTuber perverts the rigorous choreographic work.
