BONES & WIRES
2021
A meeting of two worlds, in two restrictive spaces, within the same temporality. Mathieu Leroux and Sébastien Provencher evolve in resonance, then in osmosis with each other; one is interested in memory and family, the other in over-technologization and fixation on the future. In this show, a mass of wires divides the stage where the two performers copy each other, meet, and collide. The words and images of other artists and thinkers contaminate the cohabitation of the two bodies. An intimate research propelled by energetic obsessions.
